Aged Raclette is Best in Show

Leelanau Cheese's aged raclette beat out over 1.200 entries to take "Best in Show" at the 24th annual American Cheese Society competition in Burlington, VT.

With a 27% increase in entries this year and over 200 cheesemakers competing, the Hoyt's faced stiff competition, but if you've ever tasted their aged raclette, you know that the judges made the right decision.

And, amid all this hoop-la, their raclette – once again – came in first at the Michigan State Fair.

Congratulations, Anne and John!

    Hi..
my parents live in Michigan and sent me the article about your win with the Raclette cheese. congrats!
the reason they sent it to me is because we have raclette dinner parties often in the winter. It has become our new years eve traditional dinner.

Do you all have the capabilities to ship your cheese?
I live in El Paso TX.
Also, which whole foods store sell your cheese?

Thank you and best of luck to you.

Yes, we do ship our cheese. Call us at 231.271.2600, or go to Creamery on this site and click on ordering information.

We have such a small production that most of our cheese is sold right here at the Farm or in the Grand Traverse area. Whole Foods in the Detroit area also carries our raclette sometimes.

Do you have girolles available at this time? What is the cost, also the cost of a round of raclette?
