Black Star Farms was among wineries from seven Midwest states and Ontario to compete in the 12th annual Great Lakes Wine Competition, and the only one to earn two Double Gold awards….

Black Star Farms winemaker Lee Lutes was presented with 17 medals, including Double Gold honors for the 2004 Leorie Vineyard Merlot/Cabernet Franc, and the Sirius Raspberry.
