Matt and Keegan Myers figured that both tourists and locals must love traveling M-22 that circles the Leelanau Peninsula as much as they do, so they came out with M-22 logo wear last year. When these items took off in the market, Matt and Keegan came to us at Black Star Farms with the idea of our producing M-22 wines to be enjoyed at a picnic along the way or while remembering your visit "up north" when back home. M-22 Red and M-22 White are now available in our Tasting Room as well as at local restaurants and wine shops. Your purchase will help to preserve your favorite state route - a portion of each sale will go to the Leelanau Conservancy.

Hooray for another damson plum devotee! As a life-long summer resident of the UP, I'll look for your
spectacular (I'm sure) plum spirits at the Mackinaw IGA next summer. We make wine, too, but in small batches. Estate grown, picked, crushed, pressed, barreled, racked, and at long last bottled reds (barbera, petit syrah, syrah, zinfandel, and merlot). I'm so pleased that M-22 and the Leelanau Conservancy get appreciation.

Thanks, Elizabeth, and congratulations on your winemaking endeavors.
Our Spirit of Plum is not in general distribution in Michigan, but when you return next summer we can ship it to you. Give us a call. Unfortunately, rules say that we cannot ship to California unless the recipient of the package is actually in our tasting room to order the shipment.
