Haunted Hayrides

October brings grape harvest, beautifully colored leaves, and Halloween to northern Michigan.  If you’re a Halloween fan and ready to be scared silly, come on out to the farm on any Friday or Saturday night (weather permitting) during October and join in on our Haunted Hayrides.  They’ll leave between  6 and 9:30 from our Hearth & Vine Cafe.  The price is $10 per person and they’re recommended for anyone over 12.  Hearth & Vine will be open late with  snacks, wine and hot cider available.  Contact the Inn at 231.944.1251 for more information, and be be prepared for a spooky good time.  Boo!

Soul Food & Soul Patch

Local band Soul Patch will be on hand to entertain at the third of the Inn’s concert series on October 20th.  The chefs will be cooking up some down home soul food, and a cash wine bar will be available from 6 pm.  All this for $15 per person.  Please call Jill at 231.944.1251 for reservations and further information.

BBQ and Blue Dirt

expressadpictureThe Inn at Black Star Farms will host the  second in its concert series featuring the Blue Dirt Band and a BBQ dinner on Tuesday, September 15th at 6 p.m.  The cost for this event is $15/person – no one under 21, please, and a cash wine bar will be available.  The first concert was such a hit that Blue Dirt was invited back to entertain again.  Don’t miss it.

Dinner in the Village

Black Star Farms and Left Foot Charley, Traverse City’s two urban tasting rooms, are cooking up an event to please your palate. September 26th is the date for the inaugural Progressive Dinner in the Village of Grand Traverse Commons featuring a menu prepared by BSF’s chef Corey, and moving between TASTES and Left Foot Charley’s Winery.
