Executive Chef Jonathan Dayton’s artfully prepared dishes will inspire you to savor each bite. Meals are prepared from fresh and local ingredients and are served alongside Black Star Farms wine and brandies.

Seasonal dinners are offered at the Inn from November to April on select Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. A complete list of dates can be found on our calendar.  Other onsite dining options we recommend include our Hearth & Vine Café (currently closed for the season) or the Harvest Dinners (offered at the Inn the second Wednesday of every month). These include a five course meal that features the best of what’s in season from the farm at Black Star Farms as well as from other local area providers. Tickets are limited to 30 guests and cost is $100.00 (all inclusive of tax and gratuity).

Black Star Farms offsite dining is available at TASTES in the Village at Grand Traverse Commons. Wine and spirit sampling is still available along with a creative selection of cocktails.  Farmstead cuisine is the theme for the small plates menu that features Black Star Farms house cured meats, local cheeses, fondue and the famous Matterhorn Grill.
