Executive Chef Jonathan Dayton’s artfully prepared dishes will inspire you to savor each bite while fully enjoying our relaxing ambience. Meals are prepared from fresh and local ingredients and are served alongside Black Star Farms wine and brandies.

FIRST
- Roasted chestnuts
APPETIZER
- Duck rillette, fromage blanc, balsamic reduction, grilled focaccia
SALAD
- Roasted yellow beet and apple salad in cheese cup, marcona almonds, verjus, honey
ENTRÉE
- Oven roasted hard apple cider brined pork loin, cauliflower potato puree, swiss chard, bee pollen butter
- Prosciutto, basil and fresh mozzerella whitefish roulade, baked polenta, parsley oil, pine nut crumble
- Wild mushroom, arugula and parmesan chicken roulade, veloute
DESSERT
- Crème brulee, vanilla infused custard, caramelized sugar

Our son sent us an e-mail regarding Black Star Farms and some activities in Traverse city. We just celebrated our 5oth wedding anniversary and our children gave us a one week B/B stay in Traverse city. Do you have any thing special to offer in Sept.? between the 12th and the 18th?

Hi Everyone,
Our first wine club dinner – WOW, (been there a few times at the Inn), we will be back for more!!! But next time will will get a room – more fun staying there too! Keep up the great work, the pairings and ALL the wines were wonderful.

I’ve heard that we need to be guests of the inn in order to have dinner there…is that correct? If not, we’d love to make a dinner reservation for our 15th wedding anniversary on May 11th. Thanks.

You do not need to be guests of the inn to have dinner. Dinners are open to the public. However, we have a wedding at the Inn on May 11th so dinners will not be served. Be sure to check our website calendar for available dates and special events.
