Suttons Bay hometown hero, astronaut Dr. Jerry Linnenger gave an interview to a British Discovery Channel crew yesterday at the Inn. His Suttons Bay office is so small that there is no room for even a crew of two, let alone the five who were in attendance, so our library made a cozy venue for his interview. The film crew found their two-night stay at the Inn “smashing.”
Dr. Linnenger and his family moved to Suttons Bay shortly after his time on Space Station Mir. He had spotted our “beautiful peninsula” from space and decided that this was the place to settle.
