Flavor and Aroma:
Distinctly apple layered with sweet barrel aromas. The maple flavor stands out and lingers long on the finish.
Aging Potential:
Enjoy this wine for the next five to ten years.
Thoughts for Food:
Try cooking with this one! Or use as an after dinner treat accompanied with our Apple Brandy marinated cigars. Some cooking possibilities are tart tatin, or apple pie, waffle or pancake sauces, & pears baked in a Sirius Maple Sauce. Another idea is to combine this dessert wine with our more potent Apple Brandy for a relaxing after dinner cocktail.
Wine Makers Comment:
This port-styled dessert wine has been described as “the perfect balance of apple and maple flavors -one never dominating the other, all the way to the finish.” I couldn't say it better myself!
