We have two tasting rooms and wine processing facilities, a luxurious inn that serves breakfast and hospitality hour, a special events department that hosts many weddings and corporate groups, plus a culinary program that services a farm-to-table, seasonal café, catering services for a multitude of events, elegant wine-paired dinners, and small bites for wine trail events.

Estate Chef

This leader would be hands-on in the kitchen and supervise a team supporting a robust schedule of catered events, Inn culinary services, a bustling seasonal café, and wine trail events.
Breakfast Chef
Are you passionate about food and hospitality and enjoy interacting with guests? We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic Inn team, voted #1 Wine Country Hotel in USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Awards 2020. Be an integral part of a winning team delivering breakfasts and special offerings that bring guests back for repeat visits. Full-time, flexible position five mornings/week including weekends, 6 AM-12 PM.
Tasting Room
Join our dynamic tasting room teams! We currently have opportunities for enthusiastic, hard-working people at our Old Mission and Suttons Bay tasting rooms. We are looking for creative problem solvers who love to learn and share our passion for being environmentally and socially responsible. This position values authenticity, innovation, kindness, and teamwork. We are currently offering full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions through mid-November.
Winery Warehouse Assistant
This position is part-time, year-round, and includes duties related to labeling, packaging, and warehousing of bottled or finished products. Must be reliable, self-motivated, willing to learn and improve, have a positive attitude and possess a good work ethic. Proficiency in driving a forklift is a plus, but not necessary; we can train.
Café Sous Chef
We are seeking a creative chef who can lead a team and be a part of menu development that celebrates local products and pairs with wine. We are preparing for an exciting May opening. Join us today and lead a dynamic team creating locally sourced, elevated yet accessible offerings. We are looking for a chef who wants to grow and shares our passion for being environmentally and socially responsible. This position values authenticity, innovation, kindness, leadership and teamwork. A minimum of a culinary degree/certification or equivalent in experience and training is required. This full time position includes 2 weeks vacation accrual which begins after 90 days as well as benefits outlined above.
Line Cook
Interested in a position that has a lot of variety? Northern Michigan’s premier wine and culinary destination is seeking line cooks for banquet/events and our café. This is a seasonal position through the end of the year that includes support for the café, catered events, and Inn culinary services.
Prep Cook
Northern Michigan’s premier wine and culinary destination is seeking prep cooks for banquet/events and our café. You will work with a team that sources from our own garden and other local sources. Seasonal position includes support in a variety of areas–for the café, catered events, and Inn culinary services. If you are looking for a little fun in what you do, join our team! Restaurant experience is preferred, but not necessary; we will train.
Dishwasher
These positions (both full-time and part-time) are an excellent opportunity for high school students or young adults to become acquainted with restaurant operations, banquets, and special events. We are seeking a reliable person that is available late days and evenings, typically Wednesdays through Saturdays.
Front of House Server, Hearth & Vine Café
Seeking an individual who thrives on providing exceptional customer service while working in a fun. fast-paced environment. This position is full-time seasonal, with hourly pay plus tips. Server experience preferred, must be able to work holidays and weekends.
Front of House Host/Busser, Hearth & Vine Café
Provide front-of-the-house support for a bustling seasonal café, May through October. Seeking an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This position is full-time seasonal, with hourly pay plus tips. Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
Housekeeper
We have an opportunity to be a part-time or full-time team member of the #1 Wine Country Hotel in USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Awards 2020. For the part-time position, we are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can work 3-4 days per week during the approximate hours of 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM, with some flexibility, if needed as far as days/week and number of hours/day. Initially, key days needing coverage are Sundays and Wednesdays, potentially changing during summer. So join us and be an integral player at our highly-acclaimed destination Inn.
Event Server
We are looking for servers with a positive attitude and a customer service-driven mindset to join our dedicated, highly-acclaimed events team.
