We have two tasting rooms and wine processing facilities, a luxurious inn that serves breakfast and hospitality hour, a special events department that hosts many weddings and corporate groups, plus a culinary program that services a farm-to-table, seasonal café, catering services for a multitude of events, elegant wine-paired dinners, and small bites for wine trail events.

Tasting Room
Join our dynamic tasting room team! We currently have opportunities for enthusiastic, hard-working people at the Suttons Bay tasting room. We are looking for creative problem solvers who love to learn and share our passion for being environmentally and socially responsible. This position values authenticity, innovation, kindness, and teamwork. We are currently looking to fill part-time, seasonal positions through mid-November.
Event Coordinator
Our winery estate is host to many weddings and special events. This position entails attention to detail while coordinating many working pieces, excellent communication skills, and guest interaction. It requires an energetic, dependable team player who is a problem solver, customer service driven, and always professional. This is a busy but fun position working alongside our Events & Sales Manager to ensure our guests have an exceptional and memorable event!
Assistant Winemaker
We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team dedicated to producing regionally-expressive wine of high character and quality from vine to bottle. This position is full-time, year-round, and includes duties related to all aspects of wine production, processing, and packaging. A winemaking degree or sufficient experience is required. Compensation is based on experience. The harvest period will require significant amounts of paid overtime.
Breakfast Chef/Prep Cook
Are you passionate about food and hospitality and enjoy interacting with guests? We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic Inn team, voted #1 Wine Country Hotel in USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Awards 2020. Be an integral part of a winning team delivering gourmet breakfasts and special offerings that return guests for repeat visits.
Bistro Polaris FOH Supervisor
Front of House Supervisor needed for our bustling Meddeterian-inspired bistro on our Suttons Bay winery estate. We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual who is passionate about local food and wine, thrives on providing exceptional customer service, and is willing to be a team leader. The bistro will be open Wednesdays-Sundays and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. One-year restaurant experience preferred.
Line Cook/Prep Cook
Join the team at one of Northern Michigan’s premier wine and culinary destinations. Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays. Seasonal position includes support for the bistro, catered events, and Inn culinary services. Employee benefits include company-wide discounts.
Bistro Server
We are seeking individuals who thrive on providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a fun, upbeat attitude. Full-time and part-time positions are available with hourly pay plus tips. Server experience is preferred. Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
Bistro Host/Busser
We are seeking individuals who thrive on providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a fun, upbeat attitude. Full-time and part-time positions are available with hourly pay plus tip-outs. Restaurant experience is preferred but not necessary. Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
Dishwasher
These positions (full-time and part-time) are an excellent opportunity for high school students or young adults to become acquainted with restaurant operations, banquets, and special events. We are seeking reliable people that are available nights, weekends, and holidays.
Housekeeper
We have an opportunity to be a part-time team member of the #1 Wine Country Hotel in USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Awards 2020. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can work 3-4 days per week during the approximate hours of 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM, with some flexibility, if needed, regarding the days of the week and the number of hours a day.
Facilities Assistant
Seeking an individual with good problem-solving skills to assist the maintenance supervisor with groundskeeping, property clean-up, events set up/tear down, and various general maintenance issues. Work outside—part-time, flexible, must be available Saturdays.
Cellar Assistant
Are you passionate about wine? Would you like to work for one of Michigan’s most awarded wineries? We currently have a Cellar Assistant position open. This position is full-time, year-round, and includes duties related to all aspects of wine production, processing, and packaging. Experience in the wine industry or related industries is preferred. The harvest period will require significant amounts of paid overtime—compensation based on experience and knowledge of the related field, with promotional opportunities possible.
