We invite you to share the passion and philosophy behind our culinary department at Black Star Farms, winner of the “Best Classic Wine Pairing” at the Grand Rapids International Wine, Beer & Food Festival. With our cooking classes you will learn new recipes and kitchen techniques with a chef’s demonstration and then get into the action with hands-on instruction. This is your chance to gain some culinary confidence while enjoying an afternoon of food, wine and great company. Enhance your experience by staying at our Inn and enjoy all of our wonderful amenities including a farm-fresh breakfast in the morning.
Classes are held Saturdays from 1pm-3:30pm and are limited to 12 people.

Today my husband and I attended a cooking class at Black Star Farms within the Hearth & Vine Café. This cooking class was not simply a demonstration, it was a hands-on event, producing a plentiful amount of food. We enjoyed it so much that we registered for the next class before we even left the grounds. Kudos to Black Star for such a great offering.
